What is
PRP therapy?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, which is centrifuged to concentrate the growth factors found in platelets. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the skin to stimulate natural collagen production.

PRP improves skin texture, reduces fine lines, addresses dullness and uneven tone, and can be used on the face, neck, and hands. It is also used in hair restoration for stimulating follicle activity.

Because PRP uses your own biological material, the risk of allergic reaction is essentially zero. Results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks as collagen remodeling occurs.

How does the
process work?

Dr. Chung applies platelet-rich plasma as a natural skin rejuvenation and hair restoration treatment — using your own growth factors.

01
Blood Draw & Processing
A small blood sample is drawn and placed in a centrifuge that separates the platelet-rich plasma concentrate — the active component of PRP.
02
Treatment Planning
The treatment area (face, scalp or combined) and number of sessions are determined based on your goals — typically 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
03
PRP Application
The PRP concentrate is applied through precise micro-injections into the target area, delivering growth factors directly to the tissue.
04
Results & Sessions
Results develop progressively over 2–3 months as collagen production is stimulated. A maintenance session every 6–12 months sustains the result.

What can be
treated?

Facial skin quality

Improves skin texture, luminosity and fine lines through stimulation of natural collagen production.

Hair loss

PRP injected into the scalp stimulates dormant follicles — effective for androgenetic alopecia and diffuse hair thinning.

Under-eye area

Improves the fine skin under the eyes, reducing dark circles and the papery texture characteristic of periocular aging.

Post-procedure recovery

Applied after laser, microneedling or surgery to accelerate healing and enhance results.

Skin hydration

The growth factors stimulate hyaluronic acid production within the skin for lasting hydration.

Natural treatment

100% autologous — using your own blood eliminates risk of allergic reaction or rejection.
